Beginning on September 1, 2025, NEFI started transitioning to a new weather provider — BAM Weather. As part of this upgrade, there was brief interruption in weather emails and website access for approximately two weeks. This temporary disruption was necessary to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to the new platform.

The program went live yesterday, September 15, and kicked off with a webinar hosted by Kirk Hinz, Senior Meteorologist and Client Account Specialist at BAM Weather. During the session, Kirk provided a detailed walkthrough of the daily and weekly weather services their team will be providing, along with a discussion regarding La Nina forming in the Pacific and its indication of a cold winter.
